Conclusion

If the owner finds out who the culprit is, the owner will ask the culprit to pay the damge or the owner will call the police, depending on how linient the owner is. We respect each other because we want to be treated as how we treat others. If i were the victim, I would feel hurt as vandalism is an insult. Some prevention tips;
-Become aware of the costs -- dollars and otherwise. Community attitudes will change as individuals attitudes change.
Set a good example for your friends and family. Discourage those you see who are about to damage something. It's the small things that count!
Clean up your property -- debris can be tools for vandals.
Where you have had problems in the past, consider improved lighting and / or securitydevices.Co-operate with the Police, Civic Agencies, and your School Board -- report cases you have witnessed!

Reflection

We have learnt that graffiti is not art when it is being drawn on public property without the owner's permisssion and there are harmful effects to Vandalism. In our view, vandalism gives the school a bad image and we don't think that anyone will be safe are surrounded by vandalism. Vandalism gives them a sign that this certain place is a quite, eerie and dangerous place. Get what we mean? School rules/ class rules are very important as they keep a certain group of people from doing things that they were not supposed to do and thus, the rules also have consequences or punishments.

Comments; Vandalism insults people's feelings.

Graffiti is no longer an art but a
vandalism when it being drawn without legal permission.

Scribbling abusive words/vulgarities may hurt one's feelings emotionally. They may think thta the abusive words were referring to them but in actual fact, they are not. It also may remind them of the bad memories or past that truly upset them. Vandalism is not a good example as they may disappoint their families too. Grown-ups should be good role models and show good examples to young kids. When litter is everywhere in a certain area, there might be pests such as cockroaches that will really infest people's houses. Soon, a great commotion is created and many will complain to the government and saying it was the government's fault. However, we are the suspects.
When a cerrtain public/private property is vandalised, the owner has to pay because it is his/her responsibility to keep his/her things safe & clean. But still, the culprits are to be blamed but in the end, they did not pay because they escaped.

Students cannot study in a clean & safe environment because of vandalism. Some litters such as tin cans can collect rainwater and soon thereafter, mosquitoes will breed. Students studying in the particular school may get Dengue fever and may miss out in their studies. And who's the one to blame? Us. We should also play a part, by not littering and reminding our peers not to litter and the effects of it. Same goes for the toilets, the litter could be the pungent smell that remained in the toilet, and students studying in nearby classrooms could not focus because of the stink. Some may vomit or faint. This also cause an inconvenience to the cleaners, especially the old aunties and uncles, unless the students are to clean the toilets themselves!
Staff will have a hard time dealing with the students as they are most likely to be distracted.
Students will learn from thier punishment such as paying for the damge. Through that, students will learn and understand the meaning of responsibility. If the school had to pay, sometimes, the students can take advantage of the school's budget and keep on vandalising properties. So through the following punishment as mentioned, students will not take the school for granted.

5. effects.

-Visitors may think that the school did not educate the students well, so as the parents of the students.
-It will cause inconvenience to the cleaners ; they may have a hard time cleaning up, especially the old aunties & uncles. They can be injured as they are weak and fibble.
-Students are out of ahd as they start vandalising school properties and this may affect theschool's reputation especially for; admission of Primary Ones (For primary schools) and admission of Secondary Ones [for secondary schools).

Vandalism done by loansharks may affect the Country's reoutation and hence, tarnishing the reputation of Singapore. Debters should pay up as soon as possible or might as well do borrow money from anybody, especially strangers. Nowadays, there is Global economy crisis and we should learn how to save by buying things that we NEED instead of what we WANT.
Schools should also organise or spend time with students addresing the issue about vandalism. From that, students will understand and are aware about its effects & consequences.
